The Ferrari 250 GTO: A legend in the automotive world!"

The Legendary Ferrari 250 GTO Picasso of the Automotive World

The Ferrari 250 GTO, designed by Giotto Bizzarrini in 1962, is an exceptionally rare icon, with only 36 units produced between 1962 and 1964. The car featured a 3.0-liter V12 engine and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds.

It competed in races for the Scuderia Ferrari team, winning the World Sportscar Championship. 3 times (1962, 1963, 1964) and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1964.

On November 14, 2023, the chassis number 3765 was sold at an RM Sotheby's auction in New York.
For $51.7 million!!!  Setting a record as one of the most expensive car ever sold at auction.  Yes. 60 years ago, the most expensive Ferrari in history - was once listed for sale for less than a Nissan Versa costs today. Perhaps even more surprisingly, the car apparently sold for less. With its stories, historyand its remarkable design, the Ferrari 250 GTO rightfully earns the title "Picasso of the Automotive World.
